3rd match of Day 2 winded up with disappointment as it was a tie, both sides scored 1 goal. This tie has raised difficulties for both teams to qualify for knockout stage of the league.
In the first half, the U.S.A was dominating with 1 goal and very stronger performance than the opponent but tables turned in the second half when Wales went hard on defense of U.S.A to put the ball into the nets after several tries earlier.
The first goal of match came in 34th minute through U.S.A’s Timothy Weah who flicked the ball after getting it from Christian Pulisic. He successfully saved the ball from outstretched foot of Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessay.
The First half of match was well controlled by U.S at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium as Wales forward Josh Sargent missed the post with his header.But, Wales had different plans for the Second half, Goal keeper Matt Turner saved several possible goals for the U.S. and did his job really well.
It was not Wales but U.S. defender Walker Zimmerman who fouled Wales captain Gareth Bale in the box and turned the match.Bale got penalty kick and he knocked in the equalizer to bring the game to a tie at 1-1 in the 82nd minute.
